LG V30: 6 Reasons to Wait & 4 Reasons Not to
Wait If You Want a Great Camera
We mentioned the dual cameras in our last slide, but the latest information directly from LG needs further attention. The LG V30 could have one of the best, fastest, biggest and most capable cameras on the market. Better than Apple and better than Samsung. That's because this week LG announced that one of the two 13MP cameras on the back of this phone will have the world's first f/1.6 aperture sensor in a smartphone. As a comparison, when Samsung went from f/2.0 to f/1.8 in the Galaxy S7 it became one of the best cameras on the market. LG is using a much bigger sensor than usual with a fast and wide f/1.6 aperture. This allows it to capture more light, faster, for stunningly bright and crisp images. You'll also get less blur or noise because of the fast shot, and better colors as it captures more light and detail quickly. The Galaxy S8 has a f/1.7 aperture camera, while the LG V30 will have a f/1.6 aperture lens flanked by a wide-angle camera. The best of both worlds.
